The caravan of life shall always pass
Beware that is fresh as sweet young grass
Let’s not worry about what tomorrow will amass
Fill my cup again, this night will pass, alas.

Anaesthesia service for your preventive care examination
Preventive care is important and necessary for your health. Each person wants to prevent severe and dangerous illnesses.
Unfortunately, some effective preventive care examinations, such as the colonoscopy and gastroscopy, are highly uncomfortable and partly painful.
Some patients even forego these important examinations because they are afraid of them.
Today, no patient needs to “endure” a procedure.
Particularly at our office, the safety and comfort of our patients have a high priority.
For this reason, we offer you the chance to “sleep through” a colonoscopy or gastroscopy with utmost relaxation.
What is meant by this is “light anaesthesia”. You fall asleep completely relaxed and wake up completely relaxed.
This sedoanalgesia is not carried out by the examining physician, but by a separate specialist. This anaesthesiologist and intensive care specialist is responsible for your comfort and your safety during the entire examination (20-40 min), and the examining physician can concentrate entirely on the examination as such.
During a sedoanalgesia, you completely lose consciousness, just as with an anaesthesia, we guarantee that you will not notice anything. Yet, other than with an anaesthesia, you breathe spontaneously and need no artificial respiration. After the examination, you will feel fit and be able to go home within half an hour.
If you have any questions or if you have already decided for the comfort of a sedoanalgesia, please contact our office staff. We will gladly advise you.
